Volt 2020, festival que estava previsto se realizar de 1 a 4 de julho, em Sopron na Hungria, foi cancelado depois do governo húngaro proibir eventos de larga-escala até 15 de agosto como medida de prevenção no combate à pandemia Covid-19.
First of all, we would like to thank you for your patience and support during these challenging times.
The Hungarian government has just extended the ban on large-scale events until 15 August 2020, and due to this official prohibition, we are beyond sad to let you know that Telekom VOLT Festival cannot take place this year. However, as hard as it is, we believe that this decision serves the safety of all of you, and everyone working at our festival.
For the past 30 years, we have experienced a lot and made some of the most unforgettable memories. We have always overcome any difficulties crossing our path because we had you, the best festival community ever! There is no place like VOLT – and although we will not be seeing you for the best week of the summer this year, we promise to make up for the missed experiences together in 2021!
We would like to ask for your patience whilst we work with our ticketing partners to prepare the arrangements for ticket buyers. We will share all of the details with you by email and on our official website as soon as we can.
We hope that this is the only summer in the history of Telekom VOLT Festival that has to be like this; without the festival and without you, who make this whole thing worthwhile. Let’s overcome these challenging times together, so we can party in Sopron again!
